The NHL doesn't regulate how many fans are allowed at a game. It's different standards depending on region. When those regulating them regions feel it's safe enough to allow fans back, then there will be fans back.
We saw that in NFL...some cities could fill seats to a certain percentage. The league did not decide that.

Am I not right?....again fake source/news

It's state/provincial and local ordinances that determine when/how many fans can attend and any related requirements for admission.

Only catch is you have to survive the vaccine.

So Leafs Nation will make the decision?

Cool.

My thoughts? You didn’t discuss this with any source at the league level at all. Because the league does not control when fans are allowed back in some capacity. The local governments (province/state) does.

Leafs players don't want their fans back, the building has never been louder than this season.

So your "source" basically said the NHL will overrule government orders? Was this the same guy who said Toews + Keith for Doughty was about to occur?

Also, the phrase about the "threat of the virus being eliminated" makes no sense. Vaccinating your population will help reduce the probability of catching the virus, but the threat will not be eliminated.

In my opinion they are going about the vaccination program all wrong. Keep the elderly quarantined (since they mostly are anyways) and get the vaccine into the working people first. Get the economy back on track and do the elderly and young last.

Lol. Same can be said about many rinks. The piped in crowd noise is more atmosphere than the real games.

Toronto Maple Leafs' powerplay is clicking along at 41.7% right now.

Last year, it had an efficiency rating of 23.1%.

Kinda makes me wonder if I should stop yelling at the defenceman to shoot every time he touches the puck.

For the States atleast, these vaccinations are about free market enterprise. Already seeing companies buying up getting their employees vaccinated.

Their folks come back to work before the competition, they become a "preferred employer" due to vaccine. If business can get a competitive advantage they will. Enough will do this to drive everyone to have to do it.

This is how we end up getting everyone vaccinated. Govt may have help foot the bill to get the vaccine designed and prioritized. Free market will get it administered to the working public.

Hey Ek:

Redirecting me away from your website to ads that purposely deceive people is not a very sound business strategy.

I'm only going to be led away from your website so many times before I decide it isn't worth it to come back.

Different in Canada. Government is controlling it all. Front line workers, seniors in long term care, First Nations all getting first doses. It’s all political. (frank) Trudeau. General population won’t get it until September.

Even with everyone vaccinated, the fact that we're already seeing new mutations of the virus says even after vaccination, the public should likely wait at least 6 months, if not longer before declaring everything A-OK.

Many fear economic collapse if we can't return to "normal" life, but if we don't take caution, the economic impact will be the least of our worries.

And you think the most vulnerable should NOT get the vaccine first?

Front line workers yes. Then working population. They are vulnerable in different ways. Seniors should be isolated anyway. If the working population is under these measures through this year then there will be far bigger problems than having a bunch of seniors die. That may sound a bit harsh, but it’s the truth.

To do that, you need to isolate the staff as well. And their families, and the places they shop for essentials... It's just not that easy.

So if you had the virus within the last 6 months then you should be allowed to games as well. If not even as far back as a year. T cell's will protect if antibodies are low. Anyway, rather have had it then have some lab junkies project injected into me. Besides there are fake vaccine cards for purchase. Since these are all hand written documents with no barcodes or links to a database, good luck!
